We recommend booking in advance to lock in your preferred artist and time, however walk-ins are welcome when we have availability, but appointments always take priority.
You can book online through our website or contact our artists directly.
Pricing depends on the size, detail, and placement of your design, as well as the artist you choose. We’ll give you a quote during your consultation or after reviewing your design idea.
Yes. $100 deposits secure your booking and go toward the final cost of your tattoo. Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred if you reschedule with enough notice
We understand things come up. Please give us at least 48 hours’ notice to reschedule, so you don’t lose your deposit.
Yes. We recommend having a consultation with your artist as it gives you a chance to meet your artist, discuss your ideas, review reference images, and talk about design, placement, and pricing.

No, it’s not safe to be tattooed whilst pregnant or breastfeeding. We recommend waiting until after pregnancy and breastfeeding.
It is best to avoid heavy workouts, swimming, or activities that cause sweating and stretching for at least 48 hours after getting your tattoo done. Let your tattoo settle before hitting the gym again.
Yes, in most cases. It depends on the age and texture of the scar. Book a consultation with one of our artists so they can take a look.
If you’ve got old ink you’re not feeling anymore, we can redesign it or cover it. Book in a consultation or message one of our artists today.
Yes, you’re welcome to bring a mate for support. Just keep in mind that our artists need to concentrate to give you the best tattoo. We ask that guests stay respectful, avoid distractions, and understand that the focus is on you and your tattoo.

Some bleeding is normal, especially at the start. It usually slows down quickly. Following aftercare instructions will keep everything healing well.

Skin naturally changes over time. Most tattoos hold up well with normal weight fluctuations, but significant changes may affect the shape of some tattoos.
Yes!!! Tattoos heal differently on all different skin types and skin tones, however our artists at Scripted Souls are experienced at adjusting techniques to ensure the best result for you.
Minor adjustments are usually fine, we all change our mind however big changes may require more design time or a reschedule. Let us know as early as possible so we can plan accordingly.
Yes, some peeling and light scabbing is normal during the healing process. Don’t pick at it, just follow aftercare instructions and it will settle naturally.
Yes, but it depends on the quality and condition of the existing tattoo. Sometimes a cover-up is possible, other times we may recommend laser removal before starting fresh.
Remember your aftercare is your responsibility. Healing can vary based on skin type, aftercare, and lifestyle. If something doesn’t look right once your tattoo is healed, book a follow-up so your artist can check it and advise on touch-ups if needed.
A tattoo is an open wound when it’s fresh. Proper aftercare prevents infection, helps the tattoo heal evenly, and keeps the artwork looking sharp and vibrant long-term.
Wash your hands first, then gently clean the tattoo with lukewarm water and fragrance-free soap. Then pat it dry with a clean paper towel, never rub.
Your artist will let you know, we recommend with second skin leave the first one on for 24 hours, clean the tattoo, and then apply a second cover of second skin on your tattoo. Always follow your artist’s instructions.
Yes. Light scabbing and peeling are part of the healing process. Do not pick or scratch, let it flake naturally.
Itching is normal as it heals. Instead of scratching, gently tap or apply a small amount of moisturiser to soothe the skin.
Yes, but avoid long soaks (So no baths). Keep showers short, avoid direct high-pressure water on the tattoo, and don’t use harsh soaps, we recommend fragrance free body wash.
No. Avoid pools, spas, saunas, and the ocean until your tattoo is fully healed (about 2–3 weeks). Soaking can cause infection and fading.
It’s best to wait a few days before exercising. Sweat and friction can irritate a fresh tattoo. If it’s in a spot that rubs against gym equipment or clothing, wait even longer.
Yes, however avoid direct sunlight until your tattoo is fully healed. Once healed, always use a high-SPF sunscreen to protect your ink from fading.
This is normal, your skin is going through different healing stages. Once the tattoo fully settles, the color and details will sharpen up and your tattoo will look amazing.
